Romania
If Ninjutsu defines the martial art practiced
by the ninja warriors in feudal Japan and transmitted from generation
to generation through several traditional schools, Ninpo
is a modern discipline, oriented to a complex conditioning of both
the body and the mind into an harmonically development whose final
goal is, in fact, the self-knowledge.
Ninpo is a non-competition discipline, and includes the kata study
(practical applications with a partner), self-defense, and real-fight
(shinken-jutsu) elements, based on various empty-hand and armed
techniques gathered and systematized in 18 ancient distinct warrior
disciplines.
In Romania, Takamatsu-den Ninjutsu/Ninpo is being practiced since
1995, and there are several dojos in various cities. We are grateful
to those instructors who supported our initiative, and helped us
with their contact information.
